It was the year 2003, and there was a high school boy named Cesar who was very shy. Though his interests at the time consisted of watching WWE and reading, there was one person who stood out, not only in the halls of Mater Dei High School but in every corner of his world: Breanna.

He’d often find himself stealing glances at her from across the cafeteria or noticing the way she uniquely accessorized her school uniform. Cesar knew he had a crush on her, but the idea of walking up and saying "hello" felt like an impossible task. So, he kept his distance, admiring her from afar, silently rooting for her to be happy and secretly voting for her to be Prom Queen. (She didn't win that year but her best friend did so she was happy!)

The days turned into months, and high school passed by in a blur. They never spoke.

Years went by after graduation. Cesar went off to college at Cal State Fullerton, and Breanna did the same at UCLA. They both started their adult lives, Cesar living between Orange County and San Diego making strides in his career in law enforcement and Breanna moving to New York City, diving into the bridal fashion industry and making appearances on TLC's Say Yes to the Dress. As they were off finding their own paths, the only thing holding them together was Facebook.

Then, one evening a few months after Breanna moved home from the big city in 2016, fate took a funny turn. Cesar was at a local bar, nursing a glass of water and there she was. Breanna. Standing at the bar, ordering her drink, she decided to ask him to dance with her. The rest is history!
